We have finally narrowed it down to these for imminent arrival (we are having a surprise).

Girl: Rebecca or Clara. Middle name will be June after special Aunt

Boy: Marcus or Gregory. Middle name James

Our surname is common UK surname!

Girls names are both beautiful, Clara always sounds quite elegant to me. I'm sorry but I don't like either of the boys names but if I had to choose it would be Gregory. Congratulations by the way !

GlitterGlueGun · 10/11/2020 21:14

I like them all, but Rebecca and Marcus have the edge.

FluffyEggsontoast · 10/11/2020 21:16

I love Clara of your girl names

Spied · 10/11/2020 21:18

Clara and Gregory.
Rebecca is ok and I know it's a classic but I personally see it as a bit 80s. I also really dislike Becky.
I don't like Marcus.

Rattanpenis · 10/11/2020 21:19

Clara and Gregory.

duckoutofwater · 10/11/2020 21:20

Clara and Marcus

WitchesBritchesPumpkinPants · 10/11/2020 21:22

Clara & Gregory

ivykaty44 · 10/11/2020 21:22

Clara
Marcus

Im not keen on Greg or Gregs

onlyreadingneverposting8 · 10/11/2020 21:22

Clara and Gregory (I'm biased - I have a 16yr old Gregory and he's such a lovely young man!)

Aquamarine1029 · 10/11/2020 21:23

I love your girls names and Marcus, but I really, really dislike Gregory.

janetmendoza · 10/11/2020 21:27

Clara and Gregory - I do wonder of Clara is overused though

DramaAlpaca · 10/11/2020 21:33

Rebecca and Marcus for me.

cactusdog · 10/11/2020 21:39

Clara and Gregory

garlictwist · 10/11/2020 21:42

Love them apart from Gregory. Marcus is ace.

BackforGood · 10/11/2020 21:44

I like all four.

If pushed, I think I might say Clara, as I don't know any, but I still know it as a name and think it is easy to spell and to pronounce.
I also really love Marcus so I'll edge that ahead of Gregory - though I think Gregory is ready for a comeback. Smile

bravotango · 10/11/2020 21:46

I like them all, they're good choices. I'd probably use Rory as a NN for instead of Greg though.

ItCouldBeBunnies · 10/11/2020 21:52

DH's best friend is a Gregory/Greg....known as Egg or Eggy since the mid 80s. He's a proper adulty adult now and he's still Egg. On his stag he was Egguardo.

So personally I'd go for Marcus, no Egg-based names.

finallychangedmyusername · 10/11/2020 21:56

I love all your names but I think Rebecca June and Gregory James have the edge.

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 10/11/2020 22:09

Marcus and Clara for me. Clara sounds beautiful, and Marcus is pleasantly Roman.

I don't like the nn Greg much (and I think it would likely be used for Gregory), but Gregory nn Rory is fine. Similarly while Rebecca is nice enough, I really dislike nn's Becky or Becca (Reba is an okay nn).

AngelDelightUK · 10/11/2020 22:14

Clara and Marcus for me!

CorianderLord · 10/11/2020 22:19

Not big on Rebecca (shell be Becky). Love Clara.

Don't like Marcus, but like Gregory

Runnerduck34 · 10/11/2020 22:26

Rebecca and Marcus.

MercyBodle · 10/11/2020 23:10

I really like all 4 names. Favourites are Rebecca and Gregory.

Chilldonaldchill · 10/11/2020 23:19

Clara is much nicer than Rebecca which I just think is very bland.
I like Marcus and Gregory. I probably slightly prefer Gregory.

Firebird83 · 10/11/2020 23:27

Rebecca and Gregory. Clara is very now, Rebecca will be more unusual in her age group.
