Any ideas to which name/s could be the source of the nickname Tatty?

Just watched the 2016 Swallows & Amazons (I know the original was Titty...) and think it's rather sweet. The only one I can think of would be Tatiana.

My mate was called tattie. His name is Neil.its a nickname rhyming slang Neil/tattie peal.

Tatty is awful. Might be OK for a ragdoll or kitten.
