Ok so not a baby name but Lindsey is my name and I hate it as I'm in my 20s and to me Lindsey screams middle aged woman so not so much the name I hate but just it doesn't suit me and it's not my generation so looking for names I can use that are short for Lindsey.
I thought of Liz and Lin but again pretty old fashioned, my middle name is Anne so again old fashioned. (Thanks mum)
I also thought of Elle ('L') but wasn't sure if that was too far away from my name.
I really hate it and want to use something else, I have been called Linz as a teenager but now I'm an adult it doesn't feel right to introduce myself just as Linds as people then just call me Lindsey.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
