Olivia - popularity?

Google tells me that Olivia is the top most popular name right now. I don’t know if any but I guess I don’t know many newborns. Is it that common?

It’s a lovely name but literally the number one most used girls name in the UK currently. Oliver is the most popular boys name. There is at least one in every nursery and class in primary school.

When I was pregnant with my first I immediately decided she would be Emily or Olivia before realising pretty much everyone else felt the same and picked a name a lot less over used.

What about Olive?

It's a pretty name but it's been plastered everywhere and just like anything else that can be found everywhere it loses its value.
