Sibling for Ruby

We have a DD called Ruby and are having another baby in a couple of months.

We have no names! We struggle so badly with names I'm looking for inspiration. We don't know we're having so need options for boys had girls.

I don't want another 'R' name, I prefer names that don't inevitably get shortened and I would prefer to avoid the "ee" sound at the end of another name. It's easy to say what I don't want but hard to find something that fits the bill!

Any suggestions? Smile

You are all so good at this, so many good options here. Definitely names I could see myself using, will run through some of them with DP tomorrow and see if we can get a shortlist going Grin

I like treating my kids the same and love matchy names, sorry not sorry.
So I would be going for

Ruby and Amber
or
Ruby and Jade

but probably amber as it's less obvious.

Boys, same thing

Ruby and Jasper
or
Ruby and Mica

but probably Mica as it's my favourite. Or Kyan short for Kyanite Wink

I love Rex and lots of other R names, especially for boys. My concern is our surname begins with R so I don't know whether having two RRs is a bit Kardashian Grin
