I'm so indecisive!!

Thought I'd decided on Nina for DD due in 3 weeks but then saw the name Ivy and really like that too...

DS is called Teddy. Middle names probably will be Emilia and Lily in either order.

I obviously am incapable of making a decision without posting on here and DP is just as indecisive!!

So... Nina or Ivy?!

Big fan of Nina, great name for a little girl

VenusClapTrap · 30/10/2020 11:41

Ivy Emilia. Lovely.

ProudAuntie76 · 30/10/2020 11:43

Definitely Nina. Don’t like Ivy OP sorry.

Flappingflamingo · 30/10/2020 21:25

Nina Emilia grace
Emilia ivy grace
Ivy Emilia grace
My first daughters middle name is grace so I'm biased and my very lovely mother in law is nina so again I'm biased!! 😂 😂 😂
But I really love ivy 🤣

diddlediddle · 30/10/2020 21:32

Definitely Nina by a country mile.

Ivy is very of the moment.

emilybrontescorsett · 30/10/2020 22:19

I prefer your middle names my favourite being Emilia but I understand about the spelling issue.

micc · 30/10/2020 23:16

I lean towards Nina, I love Ivy though it's just quite common right now. Nina is such a fun name :)

Greyhoundgirly · 01/11/2020 10:18

Ooh nina is nice, as is ivy. I can understand why you're stuck!! Keep us posted xx

Marshmel · 01/11/2020 14:00

Little one was born last week and we've named her Nina Emilia Grace, thanks for everyone's comments!

Ivy is a name that I like a lot despite it being so popular. But generally I prefer less common names so Nina is better. Especially if you are really set in Emilia and Lily as middle names as they are so bland (sorry, but they are. Along with May and Rose they are the modern equivalent of Louise or Marie for a middle name). Have you considered Nancy? I think it fits in really well with Nina and Ivy and goes well with Teddy.

user68634 · 24/11/2020 12:56

Oops! Cross posted with your update. Nina is a lovely choice.

Boxofpinot · 24/11/2020 13:31

Congratulations, beautiful name ❤️ and thanks for sharing!!

YoniAndGuy · 24/11/2020 17:54

Nina definitely. Ivy isn't nice at all.

YoniAndGuy · 24/11/2020 17:56

And... the trend for girl flower/plant names is beginning to wane... all the Lily / Rose/ Ivy /Violet/ slightly retro thing - they sound a bit dated now.

YoniAndGuy · 24/11/2020 17:56

Oops sorry! Glad to see your update and that you went with Nina Grin

GlennRheeismyfavourite · 24/11/2020 19:49

I much prefer Nina

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 24/11/2020 20:05

I love both Nina and Ivy

copperoliver · 24/11/2020 22:47

I prefer Emilia and ivy to Nina x

shesellsseashells99 · 25/11/2020 14:47

Nina is so pretty and I don't know of any others.

PoodleMoth · 27/11/2020 15:39

Congratulations! Lovely name choice Flowers

Eleanora8 · 28/11/2020 00:26

I wouldn’t put Ivy and Lily in a name as too flowery or Emilia and Lily in the same name as they are too similar.
I think Nina is a bit blah in all honesty...Hmm
I think Emilia Grace is lovely though

Princessbanana · 28/11/2020 01:31

Teddy and Tegan!🙂

festivebug · 28/11/2020 05:45

Ivy! Though I still really like Nina. Smile
