We have a short one syllable name and I love the nickname Max for a girl.

DH likes it but feels it might be a bit too harsh sounding and thinks Maxwell would be a better option to get Max but I'm not so keen on Maxwell.

What do you think of this name? We also haven't settled on any middle names so that isn't a problem (yet!)

My grandmother was called, Maximina.
She was 4'10" tall so it was a funny name for her but I love the name.
