What do you think of the name Felicity?

DH and I both love it.

I never thought of it until I saw a video today with the actress Felicity Jones, and now it's stuck in my list of favourite names for our baby girl due early 2021!

I'm not from the UK originally, so curious as to how it's considered here?

I think I'm more and more convinced! And that's the result I'm looking for, not too common (I love Isabella but have been told there are a lot of them), not too unusual that it would make her stand out in a bad way.

Hah I don't know Felicity Kendall or Rik from the Young Ones :D Not being from the UK, I feel like there's a lot of popular UK references I don't know, which is why it's so useful to ask on this forum!

Love it, would have liked to use it for DD but it's a close family relatives name who DM doesn't get on with so wasn't worth backlash from that!

Felicity kendall was famous for being exceptionally attractive in an ultra feminine, kittenish way.

My second daughter is called felicity, so unsurprisingly we love the name.

Nicknames various people have used for her include flick, liss, licity and flea. Might have to pick up on the fizzy, I kinda like that one.

Lovely name. Reminds me of an old school friend, she was always known as 'Fliss' and was a lovely person in everyone sense of the word.

Nice name but DD6 just read a book to me called Felicitys wishes and couldn't pronounce it for love nor money... kept getting tongue tied with it
