favourite virtue names?

Guilty love is Blessing - heard it once and think it's beautiful! I don't think I could ever pull it off though.

i read a book once about Deliverance Dane, one of the women accused of witchcraft in Salem.

That name ROCKS.

I work with a girl named Confidence. She's lovely.

I know a Courage who is fabulous - a tireless care worker for learning disabled adults.

I worked with a Comfort once... she really lived up to her name too!

I love virtue names. Favourites are Constance (Connie), Grace, Hope, Liberty (and the Spanish version, Libertad), Joy.

Joy, Hope, Serenity, Patience, Chastity, Faith, Honesty, Comfort.

Clemency, Solace or Temperance are all gorgeous

Knew of a boy called fortitude, pretty cool but a bit much for me.

There is a 17th cent Puritan name 'Pleasant' (and I think Dickens uses it too).

Oscar Wilde's mother wrote under the pen-name 'Speranza' (= Hope) which is rather pretty, I think.

We have a pet rat who was injured as a baby but battled on, so we named her Valerie (Brave)

Dd1's middle name is Constance, Dd2's is Grace. If DS had been a Dd3 he would have had Faith.

I remember a book where the heroine was called Silence. Not sure it would suit many babies, though.
