We absolutely love Barnaby and Percy for our son due in December. We are leaning towards Barnaby but does anyone have any other similar name suggestions we could consider?

TIA

I love many many boys names and I really wouldn’t judge many names as I’ve been a teacher for a long while and I’ve taught most names and you come to love the child whatever they are called. But... I draw the line at Percy. It is a ridiculous name. I do know one. He’s a fairly ridiculous child. You have to be to live up to the name. He does get mocked for it also and his peers are only tiny.
It’s an unfair name to burden a boy with in my humble opinion.

I like Percy.

Barnaby the Bear theme tune puts me off Barnaby.

@SemperIdem I think you have misjudged- we are not middle class just like the names🤷🏼‍♀️

Monty

Felix
Barty (Bartholomew)

I think Barnaby is nicer than Percy and it gives the option of the nickname Barney. If you already have a Humphrey then both Percy and Barnaby sound ok.

I think I'm leaning towards Barnaby :) I think its sweet but it will suit an adult too :)

Jolyon
Corin
Roscoe
Lyle
Sebastian
Frederick
Edmund

Please not Percy!

Barnaby is the lesser of two evils. How about Montgomery/Monty?
