I wouldn't consider either Evie-May or Delilah at all unusual.

MikeUniformMike · 13/09/2020 13:12

It goes very well with the surname @MWNA and he'd probably be the only one in his class.

The names OP has listed aren't particularly unusual.

Timothy is another suggestion.

For girls:
Amanda
Emma

Richard/Timothy 😂 (although I recently met a young Micheal Caine, so it’s not out of the realms of possibility I guess, just mean on the poor child!)..

OP Leonie is lovely, I’d avoid anything-May as there are a bazillion something-Mays ranging from 0-18, it was all the rage when I had my eldest nearly 17 years ago and the idea doesn’t seem to have lost any popularity. Also, it always makes me feel like the child has half a sentence for a name, as in ‘Gracie-May have to go to the toilet soon’ or Lilly-May push your child off the swings’ etc..

Girls: Jessamine, Helena, Cassia, Loretta, Violet, Maugerite, Genevieve
Boys: Felix, Tobias, Dominic, Rufus,

Thank you all! Still absolutely love Leonie!
I know the ones I've mentioned so far are really not too unusual at all, but we are still looking and ideas are fab x

Jonas and maxwell, Delilah and Leonie are beautiful classic names that I don't think are overly popular at all and won't pigeon-hole a child into a certain background or birth year.

I don't personally like Josiah, it's v v biblical.

Evie-May i don't think is in the same league at all as your other names. Evie-May is a common name in more than one sense. Evie is extremely common, and May is also really common as a middle of hyphenated name. Hyphenated names like Evie-May would make me think of a child from a particular kind of background - sorry to say but please don't pick it!

ttc97 · 13/09/2020 21:13

@diddlediddle thanks so much! 💓 it's lovely to hear different opinions! Don't want any names to single out my children so will definitely think long and hard before choosing! Xx
