Name to go with surname

Does anyone else find themselves factoring in the surname?

Our surname is Chandler, currently pregnant with #2 and my two go to's would be Nancy for a girl and Ziggy for a boy. But I don't think either sound great with our surname? Other options are Pearl and Jude.

Of course. The first name has to sound good with the surname. It also has to avoid giving embarrassing initials.

My surname also begins with a C so we deliberately avoided any first name beginning with W!

Pearl and Ziggy go best with Chandler. They're nice.

Nancy is a bit of a tongue twister with the "s" and the "ch" sounds next to each other.
Jude is ok but somehow hard to move sounds from "d" to "ch".

I think Nancy and Ziggy (!) are fine.
Pearl Chandler sounds like some sort of occupation and Jude Chandler harder to say.

Doesn't everyone consider the surname? I had to cross off my long term favourite girls' names because of our surname.

I think Nancy and Ziggy sound great with Chandler. Pearl works too, but I don't think Jude goes as well.

Nancy Chandler is GREAT

I don't like the c in Nancy before the Ch in Chandler. Pearl Chandler is nice to pronounce but makes me think of chandeliers.
