If I like the name James....

Any other suggestions? It's the only boys name I like at the moment and I feel like I should consider more options.

I am tempted by Edward as I love the name but not sure how I feel about Ed.

I am thinking the middle name would be William (named after my grandad and I like the fact that it is a middle name so it's not shortened as I'm not keen on Will).

I'm just over 8 weeks so have a while to decide!

Stick with James 😊

I have a James. His brothers are Thomas, William and Joseph - although all 4 get called by their middle names due to family tradition so their first names don't really get used.

John. Ihas the same solidity as James but is rarely used these days.

I agree that John is a great but underused name.

Love Tom. Every book I read as a child seemed to have a Tom as the hero.
