I am massively going round in circles here... but... thoughts in these two? Baby due in 3 weeks, don't know the sex!

Gregor

To me Gregor is very Scottish and Francis is very Catholic. I don't know if either of those rings more true!

Thanks everyone, think we are leaning towards Gregor. I lot of the points people have mentioned so apply to us, so I guess it "fits". Always find it so hard to choose, there are loads of names that I love but couldn't imagine naming my own child, IYSWIM. Now the new lists are out, I can see it was really uncommon last year, which I kind of like too since our surname is very common.

I’ve got a Francis so I’m biased. Not a fan of Gregor.

ivfdreaming · 30/08/2020 18:31

Gregor sounds like a character from the Addams Family

joystir59 · 30/08/2020 18:34

Gregor? Seriously? Gregor? Greg is just dull. Francis is just dull. Frank is unpleasant. Gregor? Words fail me.

joystir59 · 30/08/2020 18:35

Gregory would be acceptable.

Roseburn · 30/08/2020 18:42

Gregor first name, Francis middle name.

Gregor Francis.

Its a fab name OP.

SacreBleeurgh · 30/08/2020 18:47

Gregor all day long. Really dislike Francis (sorry 😬)

My gorgeous DH is called Francis, so I recommend you go with Francis Grin. I’m not particularly keen on Gregor though although Gregory is fine.

Francis
