Edith Elizabeth, nickname Edie would get my vote.

PlantPotting · 26/08/2020 10:26

Edith Elizabeth or Penny Elizabeth both lovely

August20 · 26/08/2020 10:31

Edith nn Edie would be my vote.

I like Penny but would always put Penelope on bc.

NannyR · 26/08/2020 10:34

Edith Elizabeth, to be known as Edie.

GanderousGoose · 26/08/2020 10:34

I am not at all keen on Penny. Edie is lovely.

Crunchymum · 26/08/2020 10:38

Edith will likely end up as Edie anyway!

Due you like Penelope (NN Penny?) as that is beautiful. Penelope Elizabeth is a fab name!!

WhyIsItSoHardToPickAUsername · 26/08/2020 14:13

Either Edith Elizabeth or Penelope Elizabeth are lovely.
Hard choice

SpangleBug · 26/08/2020 14:28

Penny is much nicer.

napody · 26/08/2020 14:29

Edie Elizabeth is wonderful. Edith Elizabeth too lispy imo.

Oneandabean · 26/08/2020 17:55

Penelope with nn penny

ChanklyBore · 26/08/2020 17:57

Penny and the Queen’s name make me think of coins.

Edie isn’t a name by itself.

Edith Elizabeth would be my vote.

Firebird83 · 26/08/2020 19:44

Edith Elizabeth

MimiSunshine · 26/08/2020 20:41

Not really keen on Edith but like Edie and think Edie Elizabeth sounds lovely

TheFormerPorpentinaScamander · 26/08/2020 20:44

I love Edie Elizabeth. It flows better than Edith IMO.

And ignore people saying its not a real name. Lots of names weren't names once. And I'm 100% certain that my niece, who's name is Edie, has a real name. I mean its on her birth certificate. And her baptism certificate. And her passport. And, well everything.

pilates · 26/08/2020 20:52

Edie dislike Penny

yikesanotherbooboo · 26/08/2020 21:05

I love Edie ; short for Edith . Quite like Penelope too .
Elizabeth is good with either.

AnnaSW1 · 26/08/2020 21:11

I really love Edie but I would worry some ppl might pronounce it Eddie, which is a name I really dislike.

BernardsarenotalwaysSaints · 26/08/2020 21:13

Edie.

What about Elsie, I'm aware it's a bit of a marmite name but I think it suits all ages.

MikeUniformMike · 26/08/2020 21:17

Not keen on Edie but it is better than Edith and Eden is definitely not my taste. Even if I liked Edie, it falls into the vowel-heavy short names trend so seems a bit samey.

Penny is fine but I'd probably put Penelope on the bc. If she is only ever going to be Penny, it's up to you.

Elizabeth is nice as a mn.

How does the first name sound with the surname?

MummyofMunchkins123 · 27/08/2020 15:54

Thanks for your comments. Not keen on Penelope, it would be just Penny. Elsie nice too. X

Great choices @MummyofMunchkins123
Edie Elizabeth sounds amazing

DragonPie · 27/08/2020 20:16

Edie. Edie is cool. Don’t like Edith it’s a bit prim and dull sounding.
