Octavia or Aurora?

DH and I love them both equally and are torn between both names!

This name would go with big brother Atticus.

Weirdly the characters mum is called Aurora.

I like both. How old is your son? Which can he say more easily? Whatever he calls her she will be known as forever more.....

Octavia, I think Aurora is the opposite of 'snobby'.

Octavia is lovely. I'm not keen on Aurora at all, it's one of those names people use to be different!

I prefer Octavia. I can not say Aurora with our sounding like I am talking with my mouth full.

I can’t say the name Octavia without using a thick brummie accent, but that is because I am a child of the 70s.

I generally prefer Aurora and I love the nn Rory. However I think Octavia is refreshing with all the Aurora’s now out there and it goes better with Atticus (great name too btw) in my opinion ❤️

The English pronunciation of Aurora sounds like Scooby Doo saying “roROro”, it just doesn’t do justice to the name!
So Octavia it is.
