I don’t like these names but for some reason I think Bridie or Kitty are names you might like. No idea why maybe they country name and the Wren name you like. I don’t like wren as a name. Or go for something like the celebs and use Apple, Princess or maybe Pippa - again no idea why but these came to mind.

Georgie31 · 19/08/2020 22:08

Wren Olivia is gorgeous I love that!

Raindrop87 · 19/08/2020 22:11

Olivia Wren is beautiful! 🥰

chillandrelax · 19/08/2020 22:11

Love Wren. Also like Olivia but it is very popular compared to your other choices.

Kittytheteapot · 19/08/2020 22:12

Of all the names, I like Margot best. If you must go with Olivia and Wren, use them in that order. Wren Olivia does not trip off the tongue.

And stop with the nonsense about the initials BJ. My dh's initials are BJ and he says in all his 50 plus years, it has never once been mentioned to him. It took Mumsnet to point it out to him even.

Enough4me · 19/08/2020 22:15

Olivia Wren (but can I add in Indigo Wren)

MsWonderful · 19/08/2020 22:16

Olivia is a lovely name I think. I know it’s popular but I’ve only ever known 2, born about 30 years apart

Tavannach · 19/08/2020 22:17

India, not sure Margot goes. Rose?

stophuggingme · 19/08/2020 22:25

I love Wren but that’s my daughter’s name so I would. In almost five years only encountered one other and she’s three years younger.
It is a tricky name to pair another name with though and I don’t think any of the ones you like works. My daughter is called Wren Katie and I love that but not to everyone’s taste.

I think Olivia is pretty but it’s so overused. Not that that should necessarily put you off. A middle name is barely used, so don’t confine a name you love to a middle name.

I rather like India Wren

Margot is in my view a bit fusty and cold. She might grow into it as a grown up woman then it might be sophisticated and elegant but if not then .........

whattodo2019 · 19/08/2020 22:27

I love the names
India
Margot
Wren
Not keen on Olivia

India Margot Is ok. But I'm not 100% it flows, but I guess that depends on your surname

stophuggingme · 19/08/2020 22:29

@MikeUniformMike

Wren Olivia - Wren is awful. Olivia Wren - Nobody uses middle names India Margot - Not keen on India as it is a country, Margot is quite an ugly nmae. Margaret is much nicer.

India Margaret or Olivia Margaret.

I always titter at your posts.

You hate two of my three children’s names. So when either of the comes up for discussion I’m waiting for your pitchforks Smile Christ knows what you’d think of the other. You might like it though Grin

I have read what your daughters are called and I actually like yours.

The only name I think is actually awful (apart from neveah ) is my ex’s

mintich · 19/08/2020 22:39

I prefer Olivia Wren, but I actually like Margot best of all!

yesicandoit · 19/08/2020 22:57

@stophuggingme my daughter is Wren Kate ! I think it really works great name btw.

Margot is gaining popularity and it's nice. India I like the sound of it, but couldn't use it as a name. Have you been to a India or have links to it. I studied in a India for part of my degree, and the thing that strikes me most is the poverty. The divide.

Wren Kate is lovely Smile

stophuggingme · 19/08/2020 23:02

@yesicandoit
Katie after my sister and her much loved aunt

user1493494961 · 19/08/2020 23:08

Wren is awful, it's a nondescript bird. Olivia is lovely but it depends if the popularity bothers you, probably not as it's on your list. Dislike Margot, India is nice.

Coronacurls · 19/08/2020 23:17

@BouncyCastle12 what if she doesn't get married or (shock horror) get married and keep her birth name!!

BabyItsAWildWorld · 19/08/2020 23:18

Wren and India are lovely.

Olivia is nice but now overused.

Middle names don't matter

Notajogger · 19/08/2020 23:26

Wren is not a good name imo. Sounds silly and as pp said a nondescript bird. Also don't like India, she may find it hard to be taken seriously when older (same for Wren actually).
Olivia is nice and Margot interesting - how about Olivia Margot?

eatsleepbreastfeedrepeat · 20/08/2020 09:00

user1493494961 Wren is a songbird. I personally think it’s a very pretty name.

JadesRollerDisco · 20/08/2020 09:02

Along the bird theme I think India Magpie would be nicer than India Margot

Hepcat75 · 20/08/2020 09:07

I love Margot. Much prettier than Margaret which sounds very harsh and middle-aged. Margaret wears brogues and thinks we should bring back hanging. Maggie is quite nice.
Olivia is fine.
I think Wren is a bit affected, but not awful.
India isn't the least bit offensive 🙄 but it's Katie Hopkins' daughter's name and I personally can't get past that.

Firebird83 · 20/08/2020 20:58

I don’t really like any of them, sorry. Margot Olivia would be nice.

BrutusMcDogface · 20/08/2020 21:01

Wren is weird. And the more I see it written here, the weirder it looks to me.

That said, Olivia wren does flow nicely and sounds quite pretty.

Enderman · 20/08/2020 21:01

I love India.

Wren is just awful.

Not overly keen on Margot.
