I am 40+3 expecting our first child. Really can’t decide on a name. We’ve narrowed it down to three girl names (Ellie, Maddie or Emilia) and two boy names (George/Elliott). Which ones would you choose? Our surname is Roberts if that helps. Thanks everyone xox

Emilia Roberts
I much Prefer Elliot/Elliott to George but I wouldn't put it with the surname Roberts. It's little too T heavy. Therefore I'd say George

Emilia or George.

Emilia and Elliot/t

Ellie and Maddie are nice as nicknames, not keen as full names so I would say Emilia.

George and Eliot/tt both nice but the double hard consonant Elliot/tt and Roberts is not as nice as George Roberts so George would be my pick.

Emilia and Elliot definitely

Emilia and George. Both were on our lists too

Emilia and George. Gorgeous names, and go very well with your surname. Very strong

Emilia and Elliot

Elliot!
Girls names I would say Madeline nn Maddie. That way she has options when she is older.

Definitely Emilia and Elliot

Emilia and George. I like Madeleine Roberts as a full name but less so, Maddie. I think it's the number of syllables!

I don’t like nicknames as full names so would probably say Emilia but it would probably get spelt wrong often as Amelia is a lot more common.

I love George, not a fan of Elliot at all.
