Maximilian Frederick Surname

MikeUniformMike · 09/08/2020 09:47

Seems a bit odd to have a nn as a middle name.

Rachel247 · 09/08/2020 10:38

Yes, why shorten the middle name?

Grufallosfriends · 09/08/2020 10:39

Maxim Frederick

Maximilian Frederick

CMMum88 · 09/08/2020 10:41

Max Frederick is lovely.

123Dancewithme · 09/08/2020 23:15

Max Frederick is better

GoshHashana · 10/08/2020 11:20

Both too nicknamey.

MyNameHasBeenTaken · 10/08/2020 13:10

Those are the names of 2 brothers ds is friends with!
Max is simply max.
Freddie is frederick, but always known as freddie or fred

worstwitch18 · 10/08/2020 13:13

Max is ok but I wouldn't use a nickname as a middle name. Maybe Frederick would be better.

Grufallisfriends · 10/08/2020 13:13

They're both cute nicknames.

MyPetPegasus · 10/08/2020 22:55

I'd also go with a longer name as the middle name.

If you like Freddie:

Max Frederick
Max Alfred
Max Wilfred?

aprilfools19 · 10/08/2020 22:56

I agree with everyone else. Frederick or Alfred. Max in itself is already a shortened version of a full name so I think having two “nicknames” doesn’t really go. Max Frederick sounds a lot nicer imo!

PoodleMoth · 12/08/2020 18:45

Max is nice, dislike Freddie but a longer version would go well
