Adam or Alexander?

Which do people prefer? The rest of the full name will be Samuel Holding. Thanks

Samuel Adams is a beer! Probably far enough removed you’d need to be weird to make the link.

WE are in London and both ALexander and Adam are in top 10 names according to ONS, but in the rest of the UK Adam is less common, i would still prefer Alexander

Adam absolutely, Alexander is over used.

Alexander with “Alec” for short!

This is a hard one for me as I really love both names (and couldn't use either because DH is an "A"!) but I think Adam works better in the combination you're thinking of.
