I am in love with the name Digby for for my ds who is due in 8 weeks. It's the only name I like and has been top from thr beginning but i just don't know if I'm being ridiculous and the hormones have gone into over drive?
My DH likes it too and has suggested the name Walter as an alternative which I quite like.
My DH has now said he won't discuss names until the baby comes and we can see what he might look like (I feel I may have been driving my usually very laidback DH quite potty with the name situation!!)

There was a Digby in my DC's nursery. He must be 6ish now. He was from a nice family. They looked very 'Frugi', as in the scandi kids' clothes label. Nobody ever commented negatively about his name. The only thing people said was how cute it was! (They were teeny, so cute was apt).

I really like the name Digby. It's clunky / cool imo, but definitely not so out there that it's silly.

Other suggestions would be:

Wilfred
Rufus
Rafferty
Fergus
Barnaby

But Digby is lovely. I'm not keen on Walter, but it's ok.
