Excited to be having twin girls!
Opinions on the below names please!

Both middle names are my Mum’s and MIL’s names

Clara Florence

Rosa Jannette

Thanks!

Congratulations! Clara Florence was almost my daughters name but we changed the first name. I'm a big fan of your choices Grin

Lovely names. Good luck with the birth!

Sheenais · 26/07/2020 02:37

Very nice! It isn’t often this happens on this board.

Summer41 · 26/07/2020 02:38

They are both lovely x

ellaandthebella · 26/07/2020 02:47

I'm sorry but I only see cheeky fucker (CF) when looking at Clara Florence but that is probably just me spending too much time on mumsnet.

pemberlyshades · 26/07/2020 06:52

Really like these names. I like them as stand alone names but I also like that Clara and Rosa sound good together too. I also like the floral link "across" the names of Florence and Rosa. Really lovely.

Tlollj · 26/07/2020 07:10

I think janette is the only fly in the ointment.
But I’d go with it anyway. Love Florence.

RickOShay · 26/07/2020 07:11

Lovely names. Congratulations Flowers

pinkpetal2 · 26/07/2020 07:12

I used my mums name as a middle name I really regret it. She doesn't bother with my daughter now and it's awkward when she asks why she even has her name in her name Blush

micc · 26/07/2020 08:09

Love love love! Clara and Rosa are names that I love so much. I love the middle names too.
My daughters middle name is Elizabeth and that's my mums name and my MIL middle name! Two birds one stone!. It's a really lovely and I think the names sounds beautiful.

emilybrontescorsett · 26/07/2020 09:49

I love Clara Florence.

123Dancewithme · 26/07/2020 19:39

Lovely names!

TimeWastingButFun · 26/07/2020 20:02

They're really lovely names. Congratulations!

sel2223 · 26/07/2020 21:06

Beautiful names and so lovely to honour both mums.

mrssunshinexxx · 26/07/2020 21:07

Lovely names maybe the spelling of Jeanette is a little softer that way?

I named my 4 week old first daughter after my mum she died 6 weeks before I gave birth and we were best friends I thought that way she will always have a part of her Grandma x

finallychangedmyusername · 26/07/2020 21:10

Really really great names.

Spied · 26/07/2020 21:14

Nice names.

Carriecotz · 26/07/2020 21:38

Thanks all. However, ellaandthebella - no need to swear on this thread. Unnecessary and bears no correlation to the post.

I’m happy the vast majority of you like the names so we are going ahead with them! 😁

@Carriecotz, Ella is alerting you to a possibly unfortunate connotation of the initials CF. They can also stand for other not-great terms, but that’s the case for a lot of initials including F.

Carriecotz · 27/07/2020 22:17

BlenheimOrange. I just didn’t think it necessary.
Swear words begin with lots of letters after all!
