Me and DH are expecting a DD soon and have come up with 3 names we like.

Eden
Scout
Lily-Rose

Any opinions or suggestions??

Love Lily but on its own without hyphen

I’d personally go for Lily or Rose.
I know an Eden and nobody ever believes it’s her real name for some reason.
Not a fan of Scout in the slightest; sorry!

Lily and Eden are nice. Scout is a fine nickname, but Lily-Rose is twee and naff.

Lily or rose is ok but I really hate hyphenated names personally.
Scout is so cute as a baby/toddler name but I can't imagine an adult being called it.
Eden is quite nice

Eden will be called "Ed" forever.

Lily-Rose is a bit naff...both nice names individually

Agree re hyphen, so many of these around usually with 'May', 'Grace' or 'Rose' as second element. I like Eden the best.

I like Eden, agree Lily-Rose is too much and not sure about Scout.

Lily is nice alone. Don’t like any of the others. Edie is nice

I'm the wrong audience for your post I think! Dislike both Indie and Billie and prefer more classic names. I had boys, but my favourite names for girls were: Cordelia, Nancy, Pearl, Martha, Maud and Eliza.

Lily and Rose are beautiful on their own without the hyphen. Eden is lovely too. Scout is awful.

Scout is from To Kill A Mockingbird she’s Atticus Finch’s daughter. I like your names but nothing with a hyphen.

I like Eden, I like either Lily or Rose, but not the two mashed together like that, it is OTT.

Billie is OK, a little masculine for my taste.

Indie is just bad, what's attractive about it as a name? It's an adjective, indie music etc. Possibly short for India it's a bit better (but not mad on that) or Indiana (Jones, man's name).

But the worst is definitely Scout. A nickname only (as it was in To Kill a Mockingbird, her real name was Jean Louise). Very masculine, boy scouts, camping, toggles, knot tying badges etc. Also sounds like (Brussels) sprout.

A girl in a cafe once served me and her name was Eden, I'd never heard it before and loved it. Short and sweet, different but not too different. And I think it suits boys and girls :)

I have to agree with pps, Lily and Rose are both nice, but not with the hyphen.

Scout is really not my cup of tea and I'm not keen on Billie or Indie either

All your names are a bit of a mix aren't they?

I think as Scout and Eden tend to be more modern and Lily and Rose are more traditional names.

I'm not a massive fan of hyphenated names X

I quite like Eden, hate Lily-Rose - so many of them about, as well as other hyphenated names. Agree that either Lily or Rose are nice, Rose seems to be less widely used.

Hate Scout, sorry. Billie or Indie - okay.
