Sorry for lots of posts. This will be my last one until baby is born, I promise.

This morning I heard the name Jemima. Something about it just struck a cord with me and melted my heart a little. I immediately thought it would sound lovely on a little girl.

It seems to fit quite nicely with sibling names Noah, Jacob and Jemima.

So just throwing it out there to see what your thoughts are on the name? Do you think it is a usable name? And does it go nicely with sibling names?

Lovely name. Mimi sounds nicer than Mima to me, you could also use also Jemmy, Jenny.

My DD hasn't forgiven me for not calling her Jemima. It's a family name and my GG was known as Mima. I really regret not choosing it. It's a perfect name.

I love Jemima. I don';t think of puddleduck. I think of a lovely little girl in my DCs class. She is a delight.

I've taught two Jemimas and neither of them had puddleduck issues.

It goes really well with your boys' names.

It’s from the Bible, as are Noah and Jacob, so goes well from that point of view.

The love for Jemima is immense ❤ Thank you all so much.
She is now named Jemima Isabel. No other names required! It feels soooo right. Thank you all.

@Pleasance She's due in 7 weeks... so not long now! I was stressing over having no name because the boys had their names at 20 weeks when we found out their gender. But its been worth the wait because I'm totally in love with her name..... Jemima Isabel ❤

I have a young relative with this name, it's a great name with lots of ways to shorten. I don't know of any other of this name, but lots of the other names you've mentioned. Good luck
