Emiliana instead of Emily?

My brother in law goes by Oliver and nephew Ollie, I would imagine I would always use Olivia. Not keen on Emiliana, I liked Emilia but a friend beat me to that name also.

What's with these -iana names. All I hear - the ee-AH-nuh bit. Emily is quite enough, is pretty and classic. Diana is nice.

Has anyone suggested Oliviana?

LorenzoVonMatterhorn · 26/06/2020 20:22

Go for olivia. You could say she is named after do bro and it makes everyone feel great.

I'd use Emilia! The start of Emily and the end of Olivia Smile I prefer it to both as well.

Suggestions:

Lucy
Orla
Louisa
Evelyn (Evie for short)

Oh sorry just saw your other post on Emilia. I have to say though, I would use the same name as a friend but not the same name (or feminine version) of a family name...

It's hard though - if you only like Olivia just go with that.
