Thoughts on this for a boy? I love Valentine but not that brave Blush.

Nickname would be; Tino

I may know of an Eden Valentine, who is a strapping teenager and loves his name.

If you like Valentino then go for it, I would assume italian heritage but I wouldn't let that bother you.

Beautiful if you are Italian x

It's dreadful

I worked with a Valentino once and he was short and fat... before I met him, I was hoping for an Italian heartthrob.

A bit like calling your daughter Willow if tall and lanky doesn't run in your family! 😂

Plus he was embarrassed by his name as an adult so everyone called him Val, which I'm not sure is much less embarrassing.

I was named after Valentine Dyall (a hugely popular actor in the 50s). My father desperately wanted a boy after 2 girls apparently and said how disappointed he was when I popped out. The name was tweaked to suit a girl. I'm glad I wasn't a boy - I'd have hated to be called Valentine.

I actually know three people named Valentin (no Valentinos sorry) but they all have spanish heritage so it kind of works for them I guess as they have a surname to match. All different ages though ranging from mid 80s to early 20s. They usually get called the full version of their name or Val, Valen.

We pronounce it as val-ehn-TEEN if that helps at all

Valentine is gorgeous, Valentino only really works if you’re Italian IMO!
