VERITY or EMMELINE? poll

after reading A LOT OF threads and the comments in my last thread
Finally I've found two of my favourite girl names

VERITY or EMMELINE??

I love the meaning of Verity - truth
and this name looks relatively stronger than many girl names ((???? idk...

At the same time...
I love Emmeline Pankhurst! because of her contribution to feminism!
and the name sounds and looks elegant.
(by the way, which pronunciation do you prefer - Emm-uh-leen OR Emm-uh-line)

Verity is lovely.

And personally I prefer Evangeline to Emmaline which just sounds like a longer version of Emma.

I know an Emmeline in her 30s, pronounced leen. Never shortened either. I like it.

Gah, sorry that should have been spelt with an 'e' but I still prefer Verity.

Emmeline - the 'leen' pronunciation is correct I believe, I don't know of it being pronounced 'line'. So I don't think pronunciation confusion would be an issue?
