Frankie's sister - suggestions please!

I have a Francesca who is always known as Frankie, so really I'm looking for something that goes nicely with Frankie.

I really like Penny but DP has vetoed it because Frankie and Penny sounds like Frankie and Benny's! Grin But I feel like Frankie and Penny have a similar vibe as names.

I don't love anything else, but am considering:

Elsie (Elisabeth)
Josie/Joey (Josephine)
Georgie/Jorgie (Georgina)
Margot

I also love Beatrice/Bea, Madeleine/Maddie and Matilda/Mattie but DP says no. I like Isabella but can't use it for family reasons.

I'd love some suggestions for good names to go with Frankie. We're at the 11th hour now and still stuck.

I'd go Georgina ( so Georgie , George ) or Josephine ( Josie , Jo ) - but nicknames tend to evolve so best not to get over invested - just give her a name with options - All very best to you @Roderika & how lovely it is the 11th hour Flowers

I think we are naming our DD2 Penny, when she arrives. DD1 is Molly. We also like: Indie, Ivy, Daisy, Minnie and Matilda.

BasiliskStare · 08/06/2020 19:00

@onabeachsomewhere - how lovely

Had I been able to have another ( if girl ) Stella would have been it ( or maybe Celia ) but Stella I think is a fantastic name

Otherwise if another boy it would have been John - not trendy , not out there but just nice Grin

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 08/06/2020 19:02

Frankie and Georgie. I think you need another unisex name. Frankie may not thank you for giving her sister a more feminine arguably prettier name.
I met a baby Georgie once. She was only about a week old. Her dad hold of her. I'm one of them I see anything cute. I have to go over and coo. Grin It wasn't short for anything Georgie was her full name.
. I thought It was lovely.

Other ideas.

I have Francesca (Frankie) and Alexandra (Alex), both long feminine names shortened to gender neutral names.
