I hate looking for baby names

I'm 30 weeks & I haven't found any names that I like.

I really want my child's name to be unique and represent what countries we're from.

Maybe my expectations are too high but I haven't found any that I like and I really don't enjoy looking either:(
Does anyone else feel the same? I really want to start enjoying the process so it doesn't feel like a chore.

Thanks

What countries are you from? I actually feel exactly the opposite. I've been looking for baby names waaaaay before I was expecting. I am an absolute perfectionist and want to really put a lot of time and effort in names so sorry I cannot relate. I fully understand it can feel like a chore sometimes though.

What are some names that you like? Maybe we can help you out with suggestions! At least I'd love to!

Sorry never had this problem I just love names and looking at them, could get lost in it all day 🤣.

What country do you live in?

Sorry OP, on this board you'll mostly find baby naming obsessives Grin

The good news is, we love looking for names! What countries are you from? People here may have great ideas for you.

What me and my husband do is we get a comprehensive list of names off the internet or an app, and just go through it.

Pregnant 3rd time, did the As last night Smile

I love baby names BUT I get it! I love them more when I’m not under pressure to find one/a combination that will work Grin

My advice is to take a break. With both my girls we stopped looking after SO much discussion and then when we revisited managed to settle quite quickly (with the help of some Mums Net threads I might add!)

My only other tip is try to narrow it down with some groupings - what don’t you like and why? Do you prefer long or short names? Nicknames or not? Themed? Hyphenated? Etc and go from there

Hi everyone
Thanks for your responses,
I want the baby to have an Arabic name and a Yoruba name & maybe a Sicilian one too.

Im not sure if its a boy or a girl so I think that makes it abit more difficult for me

Thanks

We use the "muslim baby names plus" app!! You can star the names you kind of like. And then you'll have a more compact list of names you like to go through.
