Cannot agree on a girls name with DH, anything he comes up with sounds too dated to me! These are kind of our top favourites we can agree on, DS has an Irish name so we are open to those too Confused any suggestions?!

Love both Nina and Chloe

How about Cleo, Cora, Greta, Martha

Etcni · 23/05/2020 14:27

Maybe Clodagh or Fiadh for Irish names that are similar to the others you've mentioned.

X-posted and duplicated a few suggestions there. Smile

Tara

DH also likes Abbie, Aisling, Esme, Naoise, Cara and Grace. It's just so hard to agree (compromise)!

I like Fiadh, not sure enough to use it but it's a contender

Cara is lovely

doughnutmuffin · 23/05/2020 14:40

Cara is one we agree on, not sure though as it's quite popular here

Zoe
Flora

It may not matter to you / affect you in any way but Cara means face or guy in Portuguese.

doughnutmuffin · 23/05/2020 14:47

Oh yes! We're actually studying Spanish and the teacher told us it meant face! Blush now I remember that's why I was put off! DH is self employed but the possibility of working/living in Spain (not permanently) is possible in the future!

Wasn't sure whether to post that or not. I didn't want to come across as spiteful for spoiling the name you both agree on. Smile

Viletta · 23/05/2020 16:06

Love both!

I also like Keira and Tina

I like Nina. And for an Irish connection, it is pronounced the same was as a town in Tipperary, Nenagh.

I like Yasmine and Alexa, although with the Amazon Alexa I think it's a no go

Spied · 23/05/2020 18:22

You can't go wrong with Grace. A proper classic.
I do like Nina.
I think Chloe is dated.

namechanger5678 · 23/05/2020 18:29

I like Grace too but it's been in the top 3 where I am for the last 14 years! I know a few girls called Grace and think it's just too popular for me

Ellmau · 23/05/2020 22:43

Chloe is lovely.

What about Ciara?
