This is a girl's name, means fog in an indigenous language from Mexico (Tarahumara). I am really fond of it at the moment and want to run it through DH but want to come up with some middle names before that.

I am thinking I will probably have to stay on track with some popular middle names so as to balance it out.

Bimori Rose

Another option is Soona which means moon in another language from the country.

Am I too crazy for considering these names? Should I stick to more normal names to avoid future trouble to my DC? I go back and forth between names that have nothing to do with each other!

Is the word used by Tarahumara speakers as a name? If not I do think it's a bit odd to use a random word from a language that is not your own as a name. Can you use it as a middle name instead?

I read it as BIMery pronunciation. It looks a bit like Binary.

Soona looks like it's a brand name for food or something.

The middle names are just run-of the-mill middle names, and are all nicer as first names.
I'd swap them around. Pick the one that sounds nicest with the surname.

Really dislike Bimori but Soona is gorgeous.
Of your middle names, I prefer Soona Louise and am less keen on Grace or Rose but I think that’s because I know SO many.

I like both and actually prefer Bimori the name but the meaning of the other! Once either have been pronounced a few times for people it shouldn't be any more difficult than a gaelic name or other international names.

It's Bee-more-ee with a stress on the last syllable even though I myself find it a little bit difficult to do that sound as I think stressing the Bi syllable comes more naturally somehow.

The name even has an accent so the official spelling of the name is Bimorí. However I think special symbols can be really difficult on paperwork so we decided to not use it. For those asking, yes, it is considered an actual name and we aren't just turning the word into a name and same goes for Soona.

After a few suggestions we are moving up Soona as we do agree it might have less pronunciation problems and spelling mistakes probably wouldn't be as terrible.

Still having second thoughts as we are thinking about our other future DC and how we'd match their name to this one.

I think if you're living and raising dc in the UK, people will struggle with the pronunciation but they'd get used to it!

So if you travel Mexico people will wonder why you have called your child ‘fog’ ? Here no one will pronounce it properly.

Soona will get endless ‘Soona or later’ jokes.

I can see why you like the names but you need to think about what she will contend with.

Not really. There are plenty of names used everyday in Mexico that have a similar origin. I know at least one person with each of these and they are considered absolutely regular names even if one of them literally means "I love you"

I will admit I hadn't thought about the "sooner or later". That's definitely taking Soona off my list. I don't pronounce "sooner" like that but I don't have a British accent but I can see it now.
