Do you think Devil?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Oneearringlost · 15/05/2020 16:52

Yes, I do ...
Or Lewis, or Grammaticus

yorkshireteaspoonie · 15/05/2020 16:53

I think only fools and horses sorry!

FiveOutOfFiveGoldblums · 15/05/2020 16:56

Liz Hurley because her son was the spawn of the devil. I do wonder how he feels about the name but I did think kudos to her at the time.

FiveOutOfFiveGoldblums · 15/05/2020 16:58

Damien Trotter

on the other hand....

Damien Maloney
Damian Lewis

Endorphins · 15/05/2020 16:59

Yes

Utterlydespairing · 15/05/2020 17:00

I went to school with a Damien and nothing was said to him

Corneliusmurphy · 15/05/2020 17:05

The one I know of has obviously decided to own it as his number plate has 666 in it Grin

WinWinnieTheWay · 15/05/2020 17:40

I think of the omen or a criminal child from Liverpool (I don't know why).

Canadianpancake · 15/05/2020 17:42

I think of a boy I went to school with who was a dirty little sex pest. Makes my lip curl whenever I hear that name.

Maybelatte · 15/05/2020 17:44

Yes I definitely do, also Only Fools And Horses.

JoeExoticsEyebrowRing · 15/05/2020 17:45

First thought is The Omen, followed very closely by Only Fools and Horses. I don't think it is even a particularly nice name, it does sound too much like Demon.

RaininSummer · 15/05/2020 17:45

I do think of The Omen first but I also had a friend called that and there was character on Brookside I think. I like it as a name.

katie43210 · 15/05/2020 17:46

I've also got an ex called Damian and when mentioned he is referred too as either Satan or Lucifer... I wouldn't.

MrsSpenserGregson · 15/05/2020 17:49

I also have an ex called Damian. What a twat.

Don't do it, OP.

seriousandloyal · 15/05/2020 17:55

Del Boy and Raquel's baby.

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 15/05/2020 17:56

I don’t mind the only fools connection because I am a huge fan...I love the name and think it sounds distinguished but the devil thing is making me lean towards no

Lostvoiced · 15/05/2020 18:01

No, I think of my brother.

He does occasionally get the "Oh like the devil" thing, but it's never bothered him.

He spells it with an e, but it's all the same.

I think it's a lovely name.

MaMaMyCorona · 15/05/2020 18:08

I think either the omen, only fools and horses or just chavy in general. Sorry!

ElectricTonight · 15/05/2020 18:24

Yep

ILikeyourHairyHands · 15/05/2020 18:28

DH is called Damian and he's lovely (and not chavvy!), I can't say I've ever particularly noticed any Omen references.

I also think Damian Lewis, who is very sexy!

I like it and it's underused.

OdeToDiazepam · 15/05/2020 18:28

I have a lovely little boy called Damian who's a talented dancer, actor and draws.. he's very popular and never had a negative comment about his name

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 15/05/2020 18:40

Damian is chavvy? I can think of lots of chavvy names so I’m not against that idea but Damians not one that immediately comes to mind

Yes.
I can hear the tubular bells music in my head now.

megletthesecond · 15/05/2020 18:42

....even though it's the wrong film.
