So I'm just after some opinions as to whether you think this name works..

Sebastian Livingstone.

Both names are long, are they too long?

Middle name will most likely be James (family tradition.)

Sebastian James Livingstone?

@MikeUniformMike thank you. I imagine on a day to day basis with family and friends he would get Seb. I guess if he was being naughty he would get the full "Sebastian" 🤣

Very nice.

Thank you. Most people are Firstname Surname throughout most of their life and Sebastian is very popular now.

I'm not keen on Sebastian, too closely associated with Seb Coe for me, but probably not for most.

Too many Ss in the full name.Sorry.

David is nice. Wink Great surname.

I love James though.

@MikeUniformMike thank you for your thoughts :) xx

If you love it, use it. I'm probably still in the Victorian era. He's been Lord Coe for 2 decades I think, and no harm in sharing a first name with a very successful athlete.
Encourage DS (or a DD) to do Medicine or a PhD. Smile

Sebastian Livingstone sounds fine to me ! A bit long yes but not prohibitively so. And I also like Bas as a nickname.

LockdownLoon · 20/05/2020 18:00

@Malysh thank you, yes it is quite long but I think it flows nicely? And I'm loving the range of "shorter" options, Seb, Bas, Bash etc! 😅

I think it's too much

It's nice although think I'd prefer one syllable like Seth Livingstone. Sebastian still good though. He could be Seb.
