DH wants Leila mainly because it’s a very loved past family members name
I like Nina but he thinks it’s a harder sounding name and wants something softer

Older brother called Hugo

There are some nice names in there (Nina, Ruby, Mara, Leila etc) but Edna is hideous, as pp said. Also dislike Rae as (for a girl) it seems tacky and made up.

DH also hated Edna. But it was a family name for me so I quite liked it.
