Thoughts on Auron for a boy? Pronounced Au-ren/Au-run x

Auton is a baddie in Dr Who

Dreadful. Sounds like the villain from a Tolkien book.

Oren is similar, shorter sound at the start but less easy to confuse

Ah I didn’t know it was Hebrew and I read a fair bit of Israeli lit so it must be fairly unusual! If you like Hebraic names what about Yonatan (my favorite)

With the S at the start it would sound like Soren, like the bread 😂

I would probably pronounce it with an -on sounding ending, if I saw it written down. Could you change the spelling to Auren? I think that would more likely get people to pronounce it correctly.
