Florence or Aurelia

Hello - gut reactions on Florence or
Aurelia!?

Congratulations! I think Florence is a gorgeous name and would choose that over Aurelia - I usually prefer girls names that have a definite ending rather than an 'ee' or 'uh' sound.

I think Florence & Rupert complement each other beautifully, and congratulations!

If your kid finds it hard to pronounce Rs (increasingly common I think) then Aurelia sounds pretty bad...

We did Latin at school and there was a character called Aurelia and all the boys used to snigger and make jokes about “Oral” . So that would make me worry she’d get bullied as she got older.

Florence Aurelia would be a beautiful name...just saying .

Definitely Aurelia! Sounds classic and delicate without being prissy or cutesy
I'm not keen on Florence but less so now its getting more popular personally
