I have a Max.
Jackson I like.
But please none of he other stupid spellings.

managedmis · 29/04/2020 17:27

Lol @MikeUniformMike

Max, of course

peperethecat · 29/04/2020 17:29

Max, 100%. Jaxson is not a name. Especially not spelled that way.

PeskyRooks · 29/04/2020 17:42

Max.
Or Jason!

Ylfa · 29/04/2020 17:49

Jaxson is definitely a name! There are two in my family tree from turn of the century North Carolina.

SoftBlocks · 29/04/2020 17:51

Max.

Nachonacho · 29/04/2020 17:52

How about Ajax? Combo of both!

Nachonacho · 29/04/2020 17:53

TYPO! I meant JAX Confused

Well I guess Americans have been giving their children silly made up names for longer than we have on this side of the Atlantic. Grin

Fleamaker123 · 29/04/2020 17:56

Max is better. I'm not a fan of surnames as first names, so a big no to Jackson.

timetest · 29/04/2020 17:57

Please not Jaxson. Max is good.

LeaveItBarbara · 29/04/2020 17:57

Not Jaxson.

Maxton? It's a place in Roxburghshire.

Littlefish · 29/04/2020 18:00

I know a Jaxxon. It's possibly the most stupid name I've ever seen.

peajotter · 29/04/2020 18:03

Max

Jaxon/Jackson etc are going to date very fast. Everyone will know how old they are, and what was a cute baby name will become a dated adult name. They are the Darrens of their generation.

Max is timeless.

Davespecifico · 29/04/2020 18:03

I must admit, I did click on this and think for a moment that Carrie had called her son Jaxson.

There are some Jaxons in my family tree several hundreds of years back, spelt like that. I was surprised. No ‘s’ in it though.

123Dancewithme · 29/04/2020 18:05

Max. Jackson is ok but the Jaxson spelling is awful!

greathat · 29/04/2020 18:05

Please spell your kid's name correctly, whatever you pick.

NameChange30 · 29/04/2020 18:10

Max

Please god not Jackson or a horrific misspelt version.

Davespecifico · 29/04/2020 18:12

Jaxson does exist as a newly invented name but it doesn’t make sense. The x in Jaxon replaces the cks in Jackson. Therefore the ‘s’ in Jaxson is extraneous.

sibbys · 29/04/2020 18:17

MAX! Such a lovely/cool/classless name ❤️

Fantasiaa · 29/04/2020 18:26

Jaxson is awful.

whatshebininagain · 29/04/2020 18:31

I like Max, it's usually short for Maxwell where I'm from. Hate Jaxson, Jackson would be OK but I think you'll always be asked if it's a family name, who is he named after etc.

BreatheAndFocus · 29/04/2020 18:32

Max - definitely!

Apologies to anyone with a son called this but I really dislike Jaxson/Jaxon/Jacsun etc etc Jackson is better but still an ugly name IMO.

PinkSpring · 29/04/2020 18:35

Max, I have a baby Max but on his BC it's a longer variation. I do not like Jaxson at all, I don't even like it when it's spelt correctly as Jackson.... it will date very quickly.

RusholmeRuffian · 29/04/2020 18:36

Max but if you must use it then ditch the horrendous spelling and go for Jackson
