Which do you prefer?

Which name do you prefer out of
Felicity or
Penelope?

I love them both although slightly worried about the rise in popularity of Felicity.

Also any other suggestions?

Felicity. I like Flick, Lissy, Floss, Fliss etc too.

I like Penny, Pen, and Nel as nns but not Penelope so much. It still says 'Pitstop' to me!

Romilly is great. I prefer Cara to Cora, but Thea is nice too.

What do you all think of Romilly as an alternative?

I don't like Romilly - sounds really masculine to me, but love all your other choices

I’ve not noticed a massive rise in popularity with Felicity. However, even if it is getting more popular, I really don’t think it’s ever going to be a top 50/20 name.

Oh and I LOVE Romilly! It was my lovely midwives name

Felicity. I'm not a fan of Penelope it's too clunky.

Sorry for the 3rd post but there’s someone I follow on Instagram who’s daughter goes by City. I couldn’t understand who in their right mind would name their daughter that but I started getting used to it and even liking it. Anyway turns out it’s short for Felicity!

Out of the three you’ve mentioned I think Felicity sounds the nicest. The ones I’ve always met have the nickname Flick though which you may or may not like!
