My first baby came 2 weeks early and chose to arrive on Shakespeare's birthday this week! I'm an English teacher and love Shakespeare. I thought it might be an idea to give him a related middle name as tribute! Any ideas..?

I’ve always liked the name Iago...I mean he’s not exactly a good guy but hey ho! 😂 similarly Balthasar. But it does sound a bit like a name for an old English sheepdog

Oberon
Orlando
Mercutio
Prospero
Benedick

@TheSheepofWallSt I live really near to Saltaire! Would forever be thinking of that pie scene though!

Demetrius, Lysander and Benedict would be my favourites.

Possibly Oberon too.

Would say probably don’t go for Macbeth, MacDuff, Romeo, Othello or Hamlet... maybe avoid Yorick...

Pixielou16 · 29/04/2020 22:27

Seth Malcolm would be lovely, especially with a Scottish last name.
