I think I've fallen in love with Harper.....
I was initially so disappointed about Matilda but Harper just feels right.
What do you all think to N o a h and Harper?
The only other name I like is Summer. N o a h and Summer?
Could you call a baby Summer if she is born outside of the May to August timeframe? As that worries me that people will pass comment about it.

Why of the two names do you prefer and why?

Thank you!

I prefer Harper

I'm going to throw Piper into the mix if you like the name Harper.....

Summer is lovely! Don't like Harper, immediately think of 'harping on' about something.

I like Summer. Pretty associations.

Even with the literary association of Harper Lee I don't like Harper. The letters and sound are quite harsh I think. Plus I associate with harpies.

I really like Harper and get annoyed with the ‘fad’ comments. Harper Lee is a wonderful namesake, yes the Beckhams have a Harper but tbh I don’t think that matters x

Summer is far nicer than Harper. If it feels right definitely use it.

summersun7 · 22/04/2020 20:36

Looks like Summer is winning by a long shot..... And reassuring it doesn't matter when she is born. Its summer somewhere 💛

Harper has been ruined by the Beckhams.

Summer is really naff.

Matilda is beautiful, Summer OK, Harper awful.
