Brother for Magnus

Any suggestions, please, folks? We have a Magnus, and I just can’t think of anything I love as much. I do like names which maybe have a bit of an historical connection, although that’s certainly not essential. Someone on here suggested Wulfric the other day, which I absolutely love, but I have a sneaking suspicion I’m not quite cool enough to carry that off. So I’m looking for something on the same, very mildly bonkers level as Magnus. Also looking for something very masculine. Thank you for any ideas!

Crikey, some fabulous suggestions, thank you so much, everyone! A few names were already on my list - Tristan, Rollo, Hamish, Hugo, Lennox (although I’d only considered that for a girl). I will go through thorough and share with the DP.

Love the name Magnus. In fact this thread has made me re-add it to our list but DH not as keen. Lars and Ranald are fabulous!

I know a little Bjorn with no scandi heritage and it really suits him.

Jovan?

Also, love Hamish and I don’t think it matters if you have no Scottish connections.

Morten is v nice too.

Of the ones you already have, Hugo is lovely. It's pretty much on a par with Magnus too - cool and familiar and actually not that unsual or bonkers at all now.

Wulfric nn Wulf is not too out there though!

I have a magnus Smile

His sibling if it were a boy, was going to be Oskar (which I knew is very common). Other options were Leif and, if I was brace enough, Bjorn

Doesn't will ferrel have a magnus and and Axel?

And I love Ivo
