Boys names - so difficult

So we're really struggling to find a single boys name that we like! I think they're so much harder than girls names...

So far we have the following shortlist however I'm not sure I particularly love any of them!

Theo
Rafferty
Albie
Wilbur
Blake

Would be great to get some thoughts or suggestions of other similar names!

Oh, I read the thread and I see you're leaning towards Rafferty! This too is a gorgeous name. And if you and your DH both love it, why not?

Theo would be my pick from your list. Very nice

Clemmie83 · 18/04/2020 14:21

I suppose I could always use both - Rafferty Blake!

Albie is the best I like Albert I dislike all the others sorry

Rafferty Blake sounds a tiny bit like an advertising company or a lawyers firm. But that's just because it's 2 surnames.

I like Euan, Caleb, Hector and from your list, Albie.

Yeh I love Rafferty and Blake
Favourite is Blake though

I wouldn’t focus on how the names flow as most of the time it’ll just be the first name being used anyway. A middle name, for me, is good because it gives the person an option for an alternative name if he decides he doesn’t like his first name. So pick another name you like like “Blake” not a name that you think flows well with Rafferty. If that makes sense

I think Rafferty Blake sounds great.
