Hiya everyone,

We have narrowed it down to 3 boy names we love but really can't pick! Wish i could see his wee face might make it easier lol! Middle name is a family tradition so having to go with that one, i know it's a bit odd but it won't be used often 😂

Which is your fave and flows the best please?

Orson Baird McCuggan
Lachlan Baird McCuggan
Harrison Baird McCuggan

Harrison 🥰

I do like Orson but it sounds so like “awesome” that I had to cross it off my list. My older kids use the word “awesome” quite a lot to be honest. Sort of think I’d be setting my son up a bit by saddling him with a name that sounds almost exactly like “Awesome”. Might be cool if you’re one of the coolest kids at school but statistically he’s not likely to be the coolest boy there is he 🤣

georgialondon · 15/04/2020 15:02

Orson

momtoolliex · 15/04/2020 15:02

I only like Harrison out of your list Smile

paradisefalls · 15/04/2020 15:03

Lachlan is my fave.

Paininmyface · 15/04/2020 15:05

I love Baird. Lachlan is marginally my favourite but they are 3 strong names. Love them.

SumAndSubstance · 15/04/2020 16:15

Orson, followed by Lachlan. I like these, but I am not a fan of Harrison.

MrsElijahMikaelson1 · 15/04/2020 16:18

Lachlan

crabette · 15/04/2020 16:27

We've got a Lauchlan so I'm biased 😂

But I love it. Also love Harrison, less fond of Orson - reminds me of the band!

pilates · 15/04/2020 16:33

Harrison

emmathedilemma · 15/04/2020 16:40

Lachlan
I’m ok with Harris but not Harrison.

ladymary86 · 15/04/2020 16:40

Lachlan!

I love this name but unfortunately it's far too similar to our surname so could never use it

Boredbumhead · 15/04/2020 16:42

Lachlan Baird McCuggan

Ellmau · 15/04/2020 16:44

I think Lachlan.

TeaMilkNoSugarThanks · 15/04/2020 16:48

I prefer Harris to Harrison with your surname. As with Lachlan there's a lot of ngghn noise going on, a sort of half-rhyme with McCuggan. Actually, having said that, as with Orson too, so maybe that's the whole point!

I really like Baird McCuggan.

[misses point entirely]

whatausername · 15/04/2020 17:45

Lachlan will get butchered if you live in England and (maybe?) Wales so if that'll bother you I'd strike it off. I dislike Harrison so that leaves Orson. Orson!

AdaColeman · 15/04/2020 18:03

Another vote for Lachlan.

Not at all keen on Orson, and think Harrison will be very popular for a short time then fade quickly, so will become quite dated.

Moongirl10 · 15/04/2020 18:04

Lachlan followed by Harrison. Not keen on Orsen.

blossomberry · 15/04/2020 18:05

Harrison!!

Finnemoo · 15/04/2020 18:19

I really like Orson

Neeentay · 15/04/2020 18:34

Lachlan. Orson is nice but a bit more unusual.

Harrison McCuggan is too much of a mouthful

LizzieAnt · 15/04/2020 18:37

I'm not a huge fan of Orson. I like Lachlan better than Harrison, but much prefer Harry as a nickname than Lockie. I don't think middle names have much impact on a day to day basis. In general, I prefer shorter first names with multi-syllable surnames and vice versa. So I think Harrison is a bit long with McCuggan (Harry is lovely though).

DramaAlpaca · 15/04/2020 18:45

Harrison or Lachlan. Not Orson.

emmathedilemma · 15/04/2020 18:58

Why don't you wait until you see his wee face then?

87Callista · 15/04/2020 19:27

Harrison
