I’m 27wks pregnant with baby number 2, we were unable to find out the sex at our 20wk scan and were toying with the idea of booking a private one to find out. Of course now due to lockdown that is not possible so it looks like we will be having a surprise Grin

We have a name for a boy but cannot find a single girls name, I don’t like anything too popular, such as Lily or Isla, and prefer one or two syllable names. To give you an idea of our taste 3yr old DS is called Rex and if he has a brother his name will be Rudy* Smile

Please inundate me with suggestions x

*baby’s name does not have to begin with R that was purely coincidence

We had names ready for DD1, but couldn’t agree on anything for DD2. We waited until we met her and tried out a few ideas, then something totally unexpected came to us when she was 4 days old and we’d got to know her a bit. Thirteen and a half years later, it’s turned out to be perfect for her.

Oooo my name has been suggested! My name is never mentioned! Can't get a cup, a badge, a pen with my name on. Much disappointment was had as a child in gift shops.

😂

Fivefourthree · 13/04/2020 11:42

I think Nancy goes well with Rex. Or Nina. Or hundreds of others I suppose.

Cissyandflora · 13/04/2020 11:50

Is Fancy a name? I like Fancy.

missmouse101 · 13/04/2020 11:56

Fern, Hazel, Tamsin, Cassia, Hebe, Sasha.

SageRosemary · 13/04/2020 12:12

The only Rex I know has a sister named Erica, which has pretty much the same meaning!

Rex and Rosa/Rosie
Rex and Amber

merryhouse · 13/04/2020 13:02

No, Fancy is not a name.

I would strongly advise against calling a child Fanny. Yeah yeah I know the bullies will find anything you shouldn't bow to bullying peer pressure but still.

Berenice
Cheryl
Gwendolyn

Cissyandflora · 13/04/2020 13:03

Fancy is a name. And there’s a great song about Fancy. I’m trying to persuade one of my daughters to use the name.

Weekday28 · 13/04/2020 13:06

Jessie? Olive?

MrsP2015 · 13/04/2020 13:08

Do you prefer something a little less unused?

What made you decide the boys names you have?

Whatsyourflava · 13/04/2020 13:09

Have any of these been any good @HotMessMama
