Emilia? That's not an English name, it's the Spanish/Italian form of Emily which is the feminine form of the French Emil. Very popular, but not English/British.

midsomermurderess · 12/04/2020 11:51

And Penelope is Greek.😀

LizzieAnt · 12/04/2020 11:57

Oscar and Connor are Irish originally.

LizzieAnt · 12/04/2020 13:32

So while Connor, for example, could be considered a modern British name, I don't think it's a quintessentially British one.

LizzieAnt · 12/04/2020 13:45

It depends on how long ago the name was borrowed really, I suppose Smile.
