Zoe and oisín

Alwaysundecided · 09/04/2020 20:49

Saoirse lovely if you are Irish. I love Erynn.
Zoe is fine but a bit dated, Ellie as a full name is awful IMO.
How about the spelling Aeryn or Aerin? Both legit spellings and pronounced Air-in which I think is lovely.

Corey is my favourite boys name from your list. Alex is a bit boring. Dylan is lovely too and Oisin is nice if you're Irish but English people will struggle with the pronunciation.

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 09/04/2020 20:51

Zoé and Alex. Eryyyyyynnnn is ridiculous, spell it properly.

DesiDiva2020 · 09/04/2020 21:03

Erynn is a terrible way to spell the name please please don't do that. At 'best' she will spend every time spelling it to people at worst people may also pronounce it 'Er-run' or 'Er-Ron' as they wouldn't conceive the idea that spelling is meant to sound like Erin

AmelieTaylor · 09/04/2020 21:22

Ellie Grace & Alex James -bits by a long way!

AllRainbowsAndUnicorns · 09/04/2020 21:25

Saoirse and Dylan or Oisín from your boys names.

Crookshanksthecat · 09/04/2020 21:37

Saoirse - like a lot but could not be doing a with the mispronunciation or misspelling it would cause.
Ellie - just dull
Erynn - ridiculous made up spelling
Zoe - very cute, if you like less traditional spelling it can be spelt Zoey

Alex - cute but dull
Oisin - never heard of no idea how to pronounce
Corey - 80s American, not a fan
Dylan - I've always liked this name

Middle names - James nice, traditional a little dull, Grace and Mae both just so overused as middle names.

bridgetreilly · 09/04/2020 22:36

Saoirse Zoe.

Crazykat21 · 10/04/2020 08:12

Thank you all. Looking like Alex & Oisín top the boys poll and Zoe & Saoirse topping the girls.

Alot thinking James is a bit dull/boring as a middle name. Any other suggestions on middle name for Alex & Oisín?

Similarly is Grace too traditional/boring? Any other suggestions on middle named for Zoe & Saoirse

Zoe and Alex

Stupidandmiserable · 10/04/2020 08:26

Grace and Mae are both a bit dull and filler-y (unless they have particular meaning to you). Are there any family names etc that you might like to use? Otherwise
Zoe Eliza
Zoe Isabella
Saoirse Marie
Saoirse Ivy

(Obs need to consider what your surname starts with.. you don't want her initials to spell out zit or anything Grin)

Astronica · 10/04/2020 08:27

Saoirse first choice for girl, Zoe 2nd.
Alex or Oisin for a boy.

ReturnofSaturn · 10/04/2020 08:34

Zoe and Dylan.

17caterpillars1mouse · 10/04/2020 09:23

Zoe Amelia - pretty, but not popular. Amelia is lovely in the mn spot, unexpected. The names together sound very classy

Dylan James

Crookshanksthecat · 10/04/2020 09:32

I think Zoe would go well with a longer middle name and Saoirse a short one.
Zoe Annabelle
Zoe Charlotte
Zoe Elizabeth
Zoe Evangeline
Zoe Willow
Zoe Genevieve
Zoe Arianna
Zoe Sophia

Saoirse Ivy
Saoirse Lily
Saoirse Iris
Saoirse Alice
Saoirse Eden
Saoirse Quinn

DonutMuffin · 10/04/2020 11:17

I have an Oisín, I'm from NIreland and glad I went with it, my husband likes Alex, personally not a fan of Ellie but go with what you like 😊👍 we had a lot of people tell us not to choice an Irish name but ultimately it was our decision

bridgetreilly · 10/04/2020 11:41

Saoirse Joy
Saoirse Lois
Saoirse Maria
Saoirse Phoebe
Saoirse Claire

Zoe Anastasia
Zoe Delilah
Zoe Matilda
Zoe Lucinda
Zoe Bethan

CaffiSaliMali · 10/04/2020 12:18

Saoirse and Oisín are gorgeous OP. I have Osian, which is the Welsh version of Oisín on my list.

I don't think James is dull or boring as a middle name for Oisín - I think they both flow together nicely. It works well with classic or biblical names.

Oisín Thomas
Oisín Edward
Oisín Henry
Oisín William
Oisín Joseph

Not a fan of Mae. I think Saoirse works with lots of names, including typical middle names like Grace and Rose.

Saoirse Róisín
Saoirse Jane
Saoirse Emily
Saoirse Elizabeth
Saoirse Katharine
Saoirse Juliet
Saoirse Mary
Saoirse Rosalind

CuppaZa · 10/04/2020 12:23

Ellie and Dylan

CakeRattleandRoll · 10/04/2020 13:32

Love Saoirse. Our Irish connections were just a bit too tenuous to use it. How about Saoirse Rose?

And love Oisin. We would have used Osian if DD had been boy. (Our Welsh connections are a bit closer.). I think Oisin Alexander sounds beautiful and strong. (As long as your surname doesn't start with an F.)

user1493494961 · 10/04/2020 13:36

Zoe and Alex, dislike the others.

Crazykat21 · 10/04/2020 18:38

@CakeRattleandRoll thank you..Oisín Alexander is beautiful 😁
