Thoughts on the name Aurelia?

Morning everyone! :)

What's everyone's thoughts on the name Aurelia?

From first looking at it how would you automatically assume to pronounce it?

We were thinking either ah-RAY-lee-ah or
oh-reh-lee (but I'm sure the second way of pronouncing it would be spent Aurélia?)

Also any suggestions for middle names & nicknames? Our surname is Clark!

Thanks SmileDaffodil

Love it but v close to one of my DD's names so rather biased.

Far too fussy for me. I tend to hate all 4 syllable names on girls. Especially if they end in a.

I love it.

It means golden

I remember where I heard it now, the Portuguese girl in Love Actually, but I see others got there before me!

I like it, I know two, both in their twenties, one of them is Eastern European.

Beautiful name. I know one aged 8, pronounced Aw-RAY-lia.

Too frilly, princessy and over feminine. Anastasia is better. Still frilly but sounds more solid and strong.

Oh or Annaliese

When I was a child I thought this was the most exotic name in the world I must have read it in a book somewhere

It’s not one I would use but I think it’s very pretty.

I first heard of the name in Love Actually and really liked it then.
