28 weeks with our gorgeous boy and top of the list right now is Finn....but Baker is starting to grow on me!! Too out there?? I really don't want a common name where his friends will have to say his surname to tell him apart, but nothing too odd that will get him teased either!! Who knew choosing a name was to hard!!

Baker is odd and will get him teased. All the time.

Are you an NFL fan? Baker Mayfield is the only Baker I can think of.

VenusClapTrap · 27/03/2020 19:18

Yeah it’s defo not just you op. Hormones made me think I needed to call dd ‘Anemone’ and I got a right old savaging on here. Thankfully.

Wannabangbang · 27/03/2020 19:36

Nnoooo is this in the Uk?

drumandthebass · 27/03/2020 20:32

Terrible

Staffori · 27/03/2020 20:42

I agree with the overwhelming majority. Please don't. Finn is a lovely name.

FamilyOfAliens · 27/03/2020 20:46

I’d go for Finn.

It’s mainstream and easy to spell, so what’s not to like?

ShrimpSymphony · 27/03/2020 21:30

Baker boy Grin don’t do it to a child!!

Mamato2gorgeousboys · 27/03/2020 21:35

Baker?? Haha... my hormones also meant I came out with some real corkers when pregnant with ds1. My dh thought I’d lost my mind 😂. Stick with Finn, your child with thank you for it.

WreckTangle95 · 27/03/2020 21:38

Baker would be a horrendous name for a child IMHO.
Sorry. Stick with Finn!

My grandfather had Baker as a middle name, as it was his mother's maiden name. In this situation it works, but only as a middle name.
