Names that go with Banga ?!

My partner and I are expecting our first baby in September! Our only problem is his surname: Banga.
We have already decided Esther and Arthur as middle names as they're family names.
We like short sweet names for both genders and nothing too common .. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!Smile

Could you give the baby your surname OP if you aren’t married? 😉

n00bMaster69 · 18/03/2020 20:56

That's an awful last name.

Give the baby your name or make a new last name for your family.

MrsSpenserGregson · 18/03/2020 20:57

Ooh looks like I'm going to be the first to say it ....

Balonz

Balonz Banga.

ChanklyBore · 18/03/2020 20:59

Why is the baby having his surname if you don’t like it and consider it a problem?

Nothing beginning with I, that’s for sure.

user1493494961 · 18/03/2020 21:00

I agree with pp, give the baby your surname, or make a new family name, I can't think of any names that go nicely.

Chewbecca · 18/03/2020 21:01

Don’t give baby his name!

GirlCalledJames · 18/03/2020 21:06

Give both surnames with yours first, or just yours.

dennisdonut · 18/03/2020 21:08

Use your surname. I couldn’t saddle anyone with Banga.
bangers
A particularly spectacular pair of breasts.
'Massive Bangers!'
'Get your Bangers out!'
'Nice Bangers!'

Banger
Banger is a piece of poo that comes from anus, it is usually brown smelly and can leave a snail trail in the toilet and panties.
"Damn that banger was booming" "Jesus I need a banger so badly I can feel it poking my panties" "MOVE BITCH I need to deploy this banger"

ShrimpSymphony · 18/03/2020 21:10

Mash

TheCraicDealer · 18/03/2020 21:19

Fuck no. Be different if you were married and had willingly taken on the Banga mantel yourself, but you'd be nuts to give a child that name under any other circumstance. At least double barrell and then if Banga becomes a problem down the road you can unofficially drop it and just use your surname for school etc.

There are plenty of posters here who gave their baby their DP's surname and then really regretted it, and most of them didn't mention a dodgy name in the mix.

RuPaula · 18/03/2020 22:44

Please not Maxwell, Max Banga sounds like a really bad porn name Grin

Wannabangbang · 18/03/2020 22:47

Drum banga

LightDrizzle · 18/03/2020 22:50

Joanna Banga?

Honestly, since you aren’t married, stick with tradition and give the baby your surname.

Herpesfreesince03 · 18/03/2020 22:54

Max banga 😂😂

PhoneTwattery · 18/03/2020 22:55

Boris

EoinMcLovesCakeJumper · 19/03/2020 13:27

I thought from the thread title that you already had a child called Banga and you were looking for a sibling name that matched...

For those saying what an awful name it is, have you not considered that OP's partner's name might not have originated from the UK? It all has a whiff of "let's laugh at the funny forrin name" about it.

All that said, I'm a great believer in overturning the assumption that children should take their father's name, so I would be saying you should give the baby your own surname anyway.

Banga is a bloody great name! I'm jealous!

I think one syllable names go best - Max, Jack, Stan, Eve, Ruth and so on.

The more I think about it the more I think Max Banga sounds like some sort of superhero.

Mumdiva99 · 19/03/2020 13:40

I love some alliteration....Baby Banga is great. So:
Bobby Banga (girl or boy),
Buddy Banga
Bibi Banga (she'll never be a clock in type girl)
Bessie Banga
Ben Banga (that's a strong name)

MrsTerryPratchett · 19/03/2020 13:43

I never understand why unmarried women give babies their partner's name.

As someone who had a different surname and nationality to my child, it's a pain in the arse when travelling.

FartnissEverbeans · 19/03/2020 15:21

Banga is a brilliant name.

Responses on this thread are, like many threads on this forum, pretty racist.
