Caleb or Evan

So our sweet little boy is 10 days and we really need to decide on his name. It will definately be Caleb or Evan. Which do you prefer of the two? Feel like we are going around in circles!! Thanks in advance

Another vote for Evan. Really don't like Caleb.

Strong preference for Caleb as I like that name and the “K” sound at the start makes it a bit different. Agree with PP about the number of E names about that all blend into one. Evan is a perfectly ok name but will be in a class full of Evie’s, Eve’s, Evelyn’s and Emily’s. It just merges into all those feminine names.

Thanks everyone for your comments. Really appreciate your views as I was getting a bit name blind! I was 80% Evan but have since mentioned to a few family members who (in their broad Yorkshire accents) have inadvertently started to put me off. Sounds like they are trying but failing to say Heaven 🤦‍♀️ Definately swaying towards Caleb now which is husbands preference too. It was a strong contender for our little boys name so stood the test of time as little boy is now 5. Registering in a few days so need to commit! You'd think third time round I'd be more decisive
